ST.LOUIS – The St. Louis Electrical Connection is co-sponsoring an Energy & Green Building Summit being held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Old Hickory Golf Club, One Dye Club Drive, in St. Peters, Mo.
Organized by the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County and Partners for Progress of Greater St. Charles, the event is open to the public. The summit will address the growing trend of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and the future development of St. Charles County. Lead presenters will be Greg Prestemon, president and chief executive officer of the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County and Bob Clark, president and chief executive officer of St. Louis, Mo.-based Clayco, one of the nation’s largest, privately owned real estate, architecture and engineering, design/build and construction firms.
The event also includes an expert panel discussion about programs of potential benefit to entities seeking to become more energy and environmentally responsible. Jim Curran, executive vice president of the Electrical Connection, will serve on the panel along with representatives from Ameren, Laclede Gas and the Urban Land Institute.
