Curran of Electrical Connection to be “Green” Energy Panelist
at Mid-America Labor/Management Conference July 6, 2010


ST.LOUIS – Jim Curran, executive vice president of the Electrical Connection, will share his industry expertise during the “Greening Up: News Ways of Looking at Energy” panel discussion at the upcoming 25th annual Mid-America Labor/Management Conference on July 6, 2010. The four-day conference begins Monday, July 5 at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Mo.

The panel will address how the region’s utility suppliers are addressing system load growth with innovative “green” solutions. Experts in the field of power distribution, labor management and renewable energy will discuss cutting-edge efforts including demand response programs and smart grid technology.

Panelists joining Curran include Michael Deggendorf, senior vice president – delivery of Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) and Scott Hughes, business development representative of the Midwest Region Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET).
