Electrical Connection Contractors Top Listing of Largest Metro St. Louis Electrical Contractors


ST. LOUIS – NECA contractor Guarantee Electrical Co. tops the St. Louis Business Journal’s annual list of the largest electrical contractors – a list in which 14 of the 16 largest are Electrical Connection contractors.  The rankings are by local billings in 2023. The Electrical Connection is a partnership of the St. Louis Chapter of theNational Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1.

·         Guarantee Electrical Co. -- $330 million

·         ArchKey Solutions (parent company of Sachs Electric) -- $320 million

·         J.F. Electric Inc. -- $237.5 million

·         PayneCrest Electric Inc. -- $150 million

·         Bell Electrical Contractors Inc. -- $48.8 million

·         Kaemmerlen Electric -- $42.5 million

·         Coltrane Systems, LLC – $37.3

·         Schaeffer Electric Co. Inc. -- $36.6 million

·         Kaiser Electric – $36.51 million

·         Pyramid Electrical Contractors -- $32.61 million

·         RJP Electric LLC -- $32.08 million

·         TSI Global Cos., LLC -- $32 million

·         Kay-Bee Electric – $25.2 million

·         J. Bathe Electric -- $12.1 million

 

The St. Louis Business Journal reported total local billings of $1.37 billion in in 2023 for the 14 Electrical Connection electrical contractors on the list, an increase of 10% over last year when the annual listing was again dominated by 14 IBEW-signatory contractors. Much of that increase is tied to expanding capabilities in powering commercial, industrial and residential needs and reliably connecting businesses in an era of hybrid offices and integrated communications for healthcare.

  

In a nod to Electrical Connection contractors’ prowess in serving a national clientele, the St. Louis Business Journal also listed seven local IBEW-signatory contractors’ total U.S. revenue. They included:

·         ArchKey Solutions (parent company of Sachs Electric) -- $1.5 billion

·         Guarantee Electrical Co. -- $410 million

·         J.F. Electric Inc. -- $303.5 million

·         PayneCrest Electric, Inc. -- $210 million

·         Bell Electrical Contractors, Inc. -- $172 million

·         Coltrane Systems, LLC -- $51.8 million

·         TSI Global Cos., LLC -- $42 million

 

The industries served by the NECA contactors on the list span residential and commercial, including healthcare, power, industrial, retail, multifamily, renewable energy, institutional, R&D, data centers, schools and more.
