IBEW-signatory Piros Signs was part of the team that delivered the latest youth baseball field for CardinalsCare.  The new Paul Goldschmidt Field for the South County Family YMCA features a state-of-the-art digital scoreboard installed by Piros and its IBEW workforce. The new field is designated for children and adults with disabilities.

A career as an IBEW Local 1 electrician has boundless opportunities. David Gralike launched his career as an IBEW Local 1 apprentice in 1983.  Today, he is president and chief construction officer at Guarantee Electrical, a NECA contractor and one of St. Louis’ largest electrical contractors with a legacy of work that dates to the 1904 World’s Fair. Gralike was one of several recent promotions announced by Guarantee for its central region which includes Missouri and Illinois.  Jason Wiegand was named executive vice president, central region while Tom O’Hara and Jacob Wieneke were both promoted to vice president operations, central region. In Carrolton, Ill. just north of St. Louis, students at Carrollton High School and Carrollton Grade School will live and learn about renewable energy when they return to school this fall.  NECA contractor J.F. Electric installed 1,436 Solar4America PV modules, transforming both campuses into hubs of clean, renewable energy.  It’s another example J.F. Electric’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions in communities throughout our region.
